Float Switch

The most proven type of level switch on the market, the simple and robust technology has stood the test of time in a wude range of point switching applications and can work independently of foaming/bubbles, conductivity, pressure, temperature, vibration, vapours, condensation and boiling effects.

built to last, some customers have replaced our engineered switches simply because they felt they ought to after 25 years failure free operation.

With no built-in electronics, the float switch is regularly chosen for alarm control and pump control due to its repeatability of switch point.

  • Easy to install
  • Maintenance free
  • Checkable versions availible
  • Low installation & commissioning costs
  • Avaialible as a system with Alarm and Control Panels
  • Robust low cost versions

Vertical Float Switches

The Vertical float switch are designed to open or close a circuit (“switch”) as a changing liquid level within a vessel passes the level of the float (the Switch Point). When the process liquid level is below the Switch Point, the contacts are either open circuit (NO) or closed circuit (NC).

Horizontal Float Switches

AMS magnetic float switches are ideal for high and low liquid level alarm, and pump control duties. These Liquids should not contain heavy soiling or coarse suspended matter and must not show a tendency to crystallize when drying out.

Float Switch

The most proven type of level switch on the market, the simple and robust technology has stood the test of time in a wide range of point switching applications and can work independently of foaming/bubbles, conductivity, pressure, temperature, vibration, vapours, condensation and boiling effects.

Capacitance Switch

Suitable for both liquids and solids, capacitance probes are proven in applications with aggressive contents and those which are prone to media build up occurring.  The switches are reliable for use where vapours occur and also in tanks with agitators. The float switch is regularly chosen for alarm control and pump control.

Vibrating Switch

Used for point level measurement with both liquids and granular or powdery solids, usually as an overfill protection device or a low level indicator. Self-monitoring capabilities make this switch well suited to Safety Integrated Level (SIL) applications where customers need to meet the highest industry standards.
